The operator grants you a limited licence to use PolluxTool under these conditions and the Terms of service. This licence concerns the program; you keep your rights in your own files and results.

1. Permission to use

Subject to your valid account and any required paid access, you may run PolluxTool for your own lawful personal or professional work on files you are authorised to access. The licence is non-exclusive and personal to the individual account holder. Feature and capacity limits follow your current Basic or Pro access. Buying a pass or subscription grants the stated access period; it does not transfer ownership of the program or grant a perpetual Pro licence.

2. Account and program restrictions

Do not share credentials or account access, resell or sublicense access, redistribute proprietary copies of PolluxTool, remove ownership notices, impersonate another user or bypass account, licence or payment checks. Do not use the service to gain unauthorised access to other people's systems or data.

Restrictions on copying, modification or analysis of the program apply only to the extent permitted by law. This licence does not prohibit a backup, observation, testing, error correction or decompilation for interoperability where an applicable mandatory legal exception permits it. It also does not restrict your lawful analysis or modification of your own binary files using the editor.

3. Your data and outputs

You retain the rights you hold in files, scripts, bookmark definitions and outputs you create. Using the editor does not transfer those rights to the operator. You are responsible for obtaining any third-party permission needed for your inputs and use of outputs. The privacy and account-storage arrangements are described separately in the Privacy notice.

4. Third-party components

Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their applicable licences and notices. Their authors retain their rights, and those licences take precedence for the components they cover. Preserve required notices when exercising any redistribution rights granted by an applicable component licence. This proprietary licence does not replace or reduce rights granted directly by an open-source licence.

5. Access ending or being restricted

Pro access ends when a pass expires or a subscription ends without another valid access grant. The available Basic features may remain usable under their current account requirements. A proportionate restriction or termination for a material breach, such as credential sharing or bypassing access checks, is subject to the service terms and applicable law. Contact the operator to request review or resolve an account problem.

Do not use or distribute proprietary program copies after the permission covering them has ended, except where the operator or applicable law permits continued use. You retain your own data and any rights that survive under a third-party component licence or mandatory law.

6. Mandatory protections

No clause here excludes mandatory consumer guarantees, remedies or liability that cannot lawfully be limited. The software is an analysis tool, and you remain responsible for checking your work; that responsibility does not remove any statutory obligation of the operator. This licence makes no blanket exclusion of all warranties or liability. The contact and complaint procedure is in the Terms of service.
